There is just one base camp for everyone
- competitors, marshals and spectators. Caravans, camper trailers
and tents are ideal. Toilets and showers will be on site as well.
Very family orientated.
Typically every day will have 1 speed
trial, 1 winch stage, 1 navigation and 1 combo. (This may vary
on some days) Vehicles will rotate through these in groups. Some
nights there is 1 further stage where all vehicles are together
(All up - approx. 16-18 stages).
Each day has a different theme. Every
stage on a given day can be observed from one vantage point, so
spectators donít miss any of the action.

OF MARQUEES, TABLE CHAIRS, ETC:
In 2017 you have on option to request a marquee. At the rear of
your marquee an area is reserved for you. Included in your marquee
is a power point, lighting, a table and 5 x chairs. If you also
require a heater ensure to select this extra item when you enter
on line. Marquees can be also requested for spectators. Ring or
email us if interested.
Please note: Power is single Phase only. You are
not allowed to run electric heaters, kettles, toasters, anything
with high voltage under any circumstances. You are not allowed
to run a lead outside your marquee to power other sites or appliances.
NIGHT DINNER: At a luxourious
function room at Cobar. Meals provided to all competitors, officials
and full package spectators at no charge.........
Toilets are provided. Hot Showers
are also provided.
DETAILS & DIRECTIONS: The event will be
held in the outback Cobar district of NSW on Tambua Station,
Mt Gap Rd which runs off The Barrier Hwy only 53km west of Cobar
(30 minutes drive). Then a further 50 minutes (50km) along Mt.
Gap Road to Mt. Gap Homestead.

Queenslanders should take the Newell to Gilgandra then head

and Adelaide crews should travel via Broken Hill then Wilcannia.
DVD and MEDIA: The
boys from Antrik will produce our monster DVD this year, and
boy are they fired up. The crew have a minimum 6 cameras plus
numerous in-car cameras and drones. These guys are
passionate about 4WD events producing the best DVDs.
Antik is steered by Anthony Butler
and Rick Makeham. They produce and sell a large range of 4wd
DVD's from the latest Winch Challenges to an array of Offroad

Photography was initially established in 2012 by Shantyl O'Donnell
from a passion of shooting 4x4 motorsport and the aim of taking
that spectacular action shot. Over the years Shantyl has had
the opportunity to work with several photographers that have
helped her to build a photography business that is known for
being present at many events across Queensland and New South
