This
event is both challenging in driving and navigation.
WHEN: 20th, 21st and 22nd April,
2012
The concept
of the event will be kept underwraps until briefing. 
The event
is both challenging in driving and navigating over a 350km course
in 2 full days of competition.
Event commences
Friday morning with a briefing at Stringer's Park, Walhalla and
concludes Saturday night, with a Sunday morning presentation at
the Snowline Hotel in Harrietville.
The event
is based on a route that all teams will be doing from Walhalla
to Harrietville over 2 days and approx. 130k's per day. There
are some challanging tracks, and challenging navigation. There
are no Special Stage Driving Challenges like the 'old' school
Pursuit, however there may be Secret Check Points, and Special
Task Stages out there similair to Pajero challenge.
All meals
are supplied in your entry fee. 
Teams must
comprise of either 1 or 2 vehicles. Cost of event is $440
per vehicle (which includes 2 adults). You can have as many occupants
as you like,at an additional charge of $85 for over 12.
Under 12 is $50 additional charge.

for Thursday night, all facilities.

Halfway mark Friday night is bush camping,
no facilities.

Further Costs
|
No further costs, apart from your fuel,
accomodation at Harrietville (optional) and if you have
more than 2 adults per vehicle, all we require are the catering
costs.

What I require
& can my stock standard 4wd do this event?
|
- Basic recovery equipment and a winch is required for
at least one vehicle in your team..
- Diff locks are not a requirement, nor is a roll cage
- Stock Standard 4wd's will be able to compete
- GPS
- We recommend Mud Tyres, although All Terrains maybe
ok if the tracks are dry; tyre size is no issue.
- Knowledge of how to navigate
- First Aid kit
- We recommend if this is your first event, that you pair
up with an experienced team

Brief structure of the Event:
- Briefing at the township of Walhalla Friday morning ( a cooked
breakfast, tea, coffee can be purchased across the road from
the Briefing Point at the Long Tunnel Cafe).
- Friday, 10am start of the event at the township of Walhalla.
- Bush Camp at the halfway mark of the event, and fully catered
for Dinner
- Breakfast catered for at the halfway mark with a 9am start
on Saturday.
- Finish and 5 Star Dinner supplied by Snowline Hotel at Harrietville
- 5 Star Buffet Breakfast and presentation Sunday morning at
the Snowline Hotel at Harrietville
